When sorting through her grandmother’s belongings, the protagonist accidentally finds a farewell letter written 18 years ago, uncovering her grandma’s secret: after her granddaughter fell into a coma in a car accident, the grandma used an AI to mimic the girl’s voice and accompanied her day and night hoping to wake her up. This 18-year-long obsession ended only when the AI was deactivated. To dig out the truth, the protagonist starts an investigation, which leads to a story of cross-life guardianship and the precious bond between AI and humanity.
