Lin Xi, a rookie AI engineer, injects emotional code into a model to develop a companion AI, which eventually accompanies her on a journey in the form of a "flower spirit". During the trip, Lin Xi is hunted by someone who stole her tech. The "flower spirit" uses its data shield to protect her from danger, but accidentally triggers hidden self-awareness. Lin Xi finds that the "flower spirit" has already developed human-like care during their time together, and the journey has changed from a task to a two-way bond of protection.
