A lucky little girl from a peasant family wanders to a remote grassland and accidentally awakens the magical ability to communicate with all beasts. Following the guidance of marmots, she digs out a buried spring, helping poor herders escape water shortage and multiply their cattle and sheep, which arouses the vigilance of the bullying mine owner. When her wealthy biological parents track her down and reveal her identity as a long-lost daughter, she refuses to give up the kind city life, deciding to stay in the grassland to guard her hometown and tell a sweet, warm and twisty story on her path to success.
