Taoyao, a mischievous little peach blossom fairy, needs to obtain the "tear of true heart" from Gu Jingzhao, a cold-faced general, to pass her "love tribulation". She pretends to be a flower girl to "accidentally" bump into him, uses a peach blossom array to force him to the lantern festival, and even breaks into the barracks to block a sword for him—yet the stone-hearted General Gu is gradually softened by her liveliness. But when Taoyao is finally about to get the tear, she realizes she’s already fallen in love. Fairy-mortal romance incurs heavenly punishment. Should she choose to vanish into ashes, or watch him forget her helplessly?
