Gu Chen, a cold and abstinent criminal investigation consultant, takes over a series of missing persons cases—every victim is found with fox fur on their bodies, leading clues to an ancient temple deep in the mountains. When he kicks open the temple door, he stumbles upon Bai Su, covered in wounds: she has nine tails swaying behind her, claiming to be a "Fox Girl" fleeing from mysterious pursuers. Gu initially intends to expose this "sorcery scam", but during his investigation, he uncovers a more terrifying truth: someone is using fox clan blood to make evil medicine, and Bai Su is the only remaining "living pill" not captured. When the killer surrounds the temple with mercenaries, Gu Chen sees through their trap in an instant—first tearing apart the lie with his reasoning, then subduing all enemies with his strength. He must protect Bai Su from being hunted while bringing the mastermind to justice. This thrilling duel between suspense and the supernatural has just begun!
