San Pao, a rugged guy from Northeast China, sets out to retrieve the pension money that独居 Aunt Wang lost to Liu Danao, a profiteer selling fake liquor. Armed with half a bottle of Erguotou and his noisy goose, he storms the morning market vowing to take down Liu’s stall. But his bluntness causes chaos—he chases a candied hawker for miles, mistaking him for an accomplice, and his goose dives into a tofu pudding bucket, splattering customers. Just as Liu tries to flee, San Pao uses his unique Northeast “chatting tactic” to expose the scam. He gets the money back, compensates the tofu stall with a pot of braised goose, and accidentally becomes the market’s “righteous big brother.”
