Lin Mo, a roadside fried rice vendor, is constantly mocked by peers as "low-class"—even Su Wanwan, a billionaire, disdainfully tosses money on his stall and leaves. Until one day, Su, suffering from a stomachache and starving, forces herself to take a bite of Lin's egg fried rice. The scallion-scented rice tastes exactly like what her late mother used to make! It turns out Lin is a retired "state banquet chef" who set up the stall to find his mother's old recipe. As Su pesters him for the "secret," she falls for this quiet, gentle man. In the end, she shows up with her household register: "Marry me, or I’ll eat your fried rice every day until you agree!"
