Ma Baiwan, president of a listed group, accidentally reunites with his first love Chen Fei—a genius architect who just returned from abroad—while competing for an old city renovation project. Ten years ago, Chen Fei left overseas because of Ma Baiwan’s “heartlessness,” but now, Chen Fei is resistant, while Ma Baiwan hides an unspoken truth: the breakup was to protect Chen Fei from family disputes. As competitors repeatedly sabotage the project, the two are forced to collaborate. Old love and misunderstandings intertwine. Can Ma Baiwan reveal the truth? Can Chen Fei let go of his obsession? A love game about “would rather miss or bravely chase back” unfolds.
