Lin Xiaoman, an office worker doing part-time voice-over jobs, breaks into top voice actor Gu Mochuan's studio to save a stray cat and stumbles upon his secret—he's suddenly lost his voice. To cover up his career crisis, Gu offers her top-tier voice-over resources in exchange for being his "voice double". As they spend days together, Gu finds that only Xiaoman's voice can reach him—it's the "healing frequency" he lost due to a childhood trauma. Xiaoman, once an insecure "voice-over nobody" on the verge of being fired, grows into a capable voice actor for big IPs under his guidance. When Gu's voice loss secret is exposed by paparazzi and a media storm hits, can they use each other's voices to break free from the shackles and turn their "double relationship" into a "lifelong promise"?
