Luo Xiaotang, a young Taoist nun who practiced metaphysics with her master at Qingyun Temple, was ordered to “enter the world for cultivation” and find a job. By accident, she became a night watch at Qingning Funeral Parlor—a place rumored to be “haunted.” On her first shift, she encountered a mortuary door opening and closing on its own, white silk floating in the corridor, and even caught the cold馆长 Lu Jingchuan staring at an old photo in a daze. Luo Xiaotang tried to use her Taoist skills to suppress the evil, but Lu Jingchuan always kept his guard up. As strange events escalated, she uncovered the馆长’s secret: an unsolved “red-clothed bride murder” happened here years ago, and her master was involved! Between successive supernatural troubles and the growing ambiguity with Lu Jingchuan, why is Luo Xiaotang’s “cultivation journey” getting more and more tangled?
