Lin Shen (played by Chang Bin) collapses after his girlfriend Su Xiao's (played by Song Meina) accidental death, only to find he can travel back in time via their sentimental keepsake. He restarts the fleeting years repeatedly to rewrite the tragedy, but triggers crueler chain reactions—his friend Chen Mo (played by Lu Siheng) is actually a "Time Keeper" tasked with maintaining the timeline. When Lin Shen uncovers the truth, he learns Su Xiao had long known her fatal ending; she sacrificed her life to protect his future of "not living in the past". The obsession with "killing the fleeting years" ultimately becomes a mutual redemption across time.
