Architect Gu Jingshen is tasked with acquiring an old pear orchard to build a cultural and creative park, only to clash with Su Li, a opera troupe girl guarding the orchard—this girl, who holds a pear-blossom qin and upholds the ancient "steeping pear blossoms" ritual, would rather die than let bulldozers in. From bitter rivals to secret lovers, Gu discovers that behind his father’s acquisition order lies a secret: Su Li’s father sacrificed himself to save Gu’s mother years ago. And under the orchard Su Li defends, there’s a pear-blossom note left by Gu’s mother, reading, "Keep the pear orchard blooming forever." When the pressure to demolish meets a 20-year-old promise, can they hold onto what matters most amid a shower of pear blossoms?
