Lin Wan has a secret—she can see the sign of "Daylight Fading": when someone's shadow starts to dissipate in the sun, that person will be permanently "frozen" in time within 24 hours. She hides this ability desperately until her childhood sweetheart Cheng Ye's shadow suddenly turns transparent. To save him, Lin Wan is forced to reopen the wound of her parents' "mysterious disappearance" ten years ago—only to discover that "Fading" is a后遗症 of a time rift experiment, and Cheng Ye is the "key" left from that experiment. When daylight fades for the third time, she must bet on an ending not devoured by time, balancing love and truth.
