Mo Shen, the powerful ruler of the hidden Dragon Domain, has spent three years secretly searching for his missing wife Su Wan in the mortal world, hiding his identity to get close to her. Just as he’s stuck figuring out how to mend their three-year rift, his twin kids—Xiao Guai (Little Good) and Xiao Nao (Little Naughty)—sneak out of the Dragon Domain. Using a half-jade pendant left by their mom, the two little机灵鬼 (smarties) track down their dad and insist on being his “love assistants”: they replace Su Wan’s milk tea with Mo Shen’s homemade tonic soup, lock the two in an elevator to “foster feelings,” and even scare away Su Wan’s blind date. But Su Wan’s attitude toward Mo Shen is icy—she still holds a grudge over a “betrayal” misunderstanding from three years ago, and someone mysterious is secretly trying to tear them apart. Can the twin munchkins’ “divine help” melt Su Wan’s heart and reunite the family?
