When cultural relic restorer Lin Wanxing takes on the restoration of an ancient town's opera stage, she reunites with Lu Zhao—her first love who vanished a decade ago, now a documentary director back to fulfill their uncompleted promise of 「restoring the stage together」. Lu left back then because of leukemia, fearing he'd be a burden; now his condition has relapsed, leaving him only three months to live. Lin, trapped in the pain of 「being abandoned」 for years, finally discovers Lu has worn a star-shaped necklace (with her 18-year-old photo inside) for ten years, and finds the words 「Wanxing & Zhaozhao Never Part」 they carved on the stage beam. The wind didn't blow away their unsaid 「I never forgot」. As the stage's old paintings are restored, can they turn 「missed」 into 「reunited」 before the end comes?
