Fire reporter Su Wan has been obsessed with investigating an old arson case where her mother died mysteriously. During an interview with a fire brigade, she meets Lin Yan, the reserved captain who was the first responder at the scene of her mother’s death. Su Wan notices Lin Yan avoids details about the fire and hides an old notebook filled with “blaze” annotations. As they grow closer through rescue missions, Su Wan discovers Lin Yan has been hiding the secret of her mother’s last words; Lin Yan’s “avoidance,” however, is because he fears Su Wan will learn her mother died saving him. When the spark of truth ignites memories, can their love burn toward a new beginning amid the “blaze” of the past?
