Eighteenth-line actress Lin Wanyin was labeled a 'brainless vase' for her stunning beauty, mocked by the entire internet, and even framed by her agency in a 'diva behavior' scandal, on the brink of being blacklisted. In despair, she unexpectedly landed an audition for *Dream of the Opera*, a highly anticipated drama starring Gu Shiyan—the 'untouchable top actor' who never interacts with female co-stars. Determined to secure a role with her looks, Lin Wanyin shocked everyone by performing a five-year-old Peking Opera piece, *The Purse*, leaving Gu Shiyan speechless: 'You’re not a vase—you’re my Xue Xiangling.' Little did she know, Gu Shiyan had recognized her long ago—two years prior, he’d collapsed from a stomachache, and Lin Wanyin had saved him with ginger tea and a Cheng-style opera tune, disappearing before he could thank her. Now, as Lin Wanyin uses her talent to expose her agency’s schemes and rise from 'hated vase' to 'opera prodigy,' Gu Shiyan abandons his 'no-love rule,' stepping in to shield her from attacks time and again—all to turn the 'ginger tea girl' of his past into his 'forever.'
