Lin Xiaoman, an overworked office worker, gets pricked by a glowing blue butterfly while staying up late revising a proposal—only to wake up in the "Zhuang Zhou Dream System". The system tells her she’s the "Butterfly-Chosen One" who must complete 7 cultivation tasks to return to reality, or be trapped forever. But her first task crashes her into Gu Heng, the icy CEO who’s her cold client in real life—turns out he’s the "Butterfly Guardian" in the system? Even more absurd: Gu Heng uses immortal magic to help her fight workplace PUA and secretly leaves hot congee for her overtime nights. As tasks unfold, Lin Xiaoman discovers the truth: the "dream" is a trap Gu Heng set with a thousand years of cultivation power—he’s the butterfly spirit she saved centuries ago, waiting 3000 years to find her reincarnation, just to slip his promise of "this time, I’ll stay with you" into every corner of her dreams...
