Newly-promoted office rookie Lin Xiao is haunted by the same recurring nightmare: a masked shadow chases her through the dark every night. Every time she wakes up, she finds real cuts and bruises on her arms and neck, exactly matching the injuries in her dream. Colleagues notice her growing trance-like state and frequent work mistakes. One day, she spots an old factory plaque in her dream, which matches the derelict suburban factory that collapsed three years ago. Even more terrifying, her direct boss—who was responsible for the accident back then—also appears in her dreams repeatedly. Lin must uncover the murderous conspiracy behind the nightmare before it consumes her completely, or she will be the next to die in her sleep.
