Su Xiaowan is a humble maid in the imperial kitchen, whose signature dish is a tender, bone-free soy-braised pork trotter. She’s often mocked by noble concubines for cooking such "vulgar folk food". However, the emperor was so impressed by her trotter during his private visit that he immediately conferred her the title "Trotter Concubine". Those who once bullied her now curry favor with her.
