16-year-old Lin Xiaoman lost his parents and was passed around by relatives who wanted nothing to do with him. Until 22-year-old Sang Wan stood at the police station with red eyes: "I'll be his guardian." In reality, she'd just lost her job, lived in a basement, and had only 20 yuan left—just as一无所有 as Xiaoman. Staring at the instant noodle bag in her hand, Xiaoman suddenly said: "I want you to support me." Sang Wan handed him her only hot bun: "Okay." From then on, the bulb in the basement became their starlight: Sang Wan worked three jobs a day, her fingers pale from dishwater; Xiaoman secretly mended her socks into teddy bear patterns and wrapped his school uniform around her when she fell asleep at the table. But the day before Xiaoman's 18th birthday, Sang Wan disappeared, leaving a note: "I'm not worthy of being your light." Three years later, Xiaoman stood at the convenience store where Sang Wan worked, holding a house deed: "When you supported me, you said I was your courage. Now it's my turn—my twilight light, it's time to come home."
