When pet rescue director Li Jiang confronts wealthy heir Zhang Yang over animal cruelty, he's besieged by the tycoon's parents who force his shelter to close. Three years later, Zhang's abuse videos go viral, exposing their son's monstrous nature. In a desperate plea for redemption, the parents discover a shocking truth at a stray dog shelter: the blind cat Li rescued years ago is the only creature willing to approach Zhang. Hidden surveillance footage reveals the cat's scratches were actually stopping Zhang's suicide attempt, and the torn withdrawal document Li supposedly signed contained evidence that could have destroyed the family empire. The rescuer they vilified had secretly been Zhang's only defender.
