Lin Wanwan, a poor recent graduate, becomes a live-in nanny for a wealthy family to pay her brother's tuition, taking care of a grumpy old man. By mistake, she replaces the old man's "cultivation tonic" with millet congee, only to make the old man—who is actually a reclusive immortal ancestor—decide she's "careful and reliable." On his deathbed, he leaves her a hundred-billion inheritance! She expects to be torn apart by the wealthy relatives, but the old man's "Nanny-Favoring System" protects her automatically. Even Gu Jingshen, the cold-faced CEO grandson, comes over—pretending to demand the inheritance, but he's actually long been attracted to her when she feeds stray cats, and has to help her complete the system's "sweet tasks"! While dealing with relatives' accusations of "why you," and being forced by the system to "hold hands with Gu Jingshen at the market," Lin Wanwan is confused: "I just wanted to earn 3,000 yuan, how did I become a winner in life?"
