Chen Hongyuan, a tycoon, dies suddenly, and his billions in inheritance bring forth two unexpected heirs—Chen Mo, the illegitimate son missing for 20 years, and Xia Zhixia, the "dear adopted daughter" raised by the old man for 30 years. Chen Mo vows to fight for the "justice" his mother was denied (she died with hatred after being abandoned), while Xia Zhixia refuses to back down even at the cost of her life because she holds the "secret of the old man's death." As they battle each other, they discover their mothers were best friends persecuted by the Chen family, and Xia Zhixia is actually Chen Hongyuan's biological daughter, whom he gave away decades ago! When love unexpectedly grows between the adversarial pair, they must choose: continue avenging the deception of the previous generation, or let go of the inheritance and together expose the lie the Chen family has hidden for 30 years?
