Picking up right where the first installment left off, animal rescuer Lin Ye lives with "A Ye", a wild jackal she saved as a cub, now a sturdy adult in their mountain shelter. Suddenly, A Ye's wild instincts flare up and crashes into the town's chicken farm, sparking widespread panic, and a hunting team is sent to capture it. Meanwhile, her adoptive father, a renowned animal research expert who abandoned her years ago, returns to take A Ye for a wild taming experiment. Caught between villagers' protests and her father's coercion, Lin Ye must find a way to protect her partner, uncover her life's secrets and safeguard their wilderness home.
