Office worker Lin Wan dies from overworking on a proposal, only to wake up bound to the "Fireworks Cultivation System"—she must run a fireworks shop to collect "human fireworks qi" and reach the third stage of Qi-training in 30 days, or her soul will vanish. Desperate, she takes over a failing fireworks shop in her neighborhood, only to meet her icy landlord Lu Zhao: a hermit cultivator sealed off from his powers for defying fate, who can only break the curse by absorbing fireworks qi. From bickering over "stolen sparklers" to teaming up: they use fairy sticks to strike a cheating client with lightning, send a dementia elderly home via sky lanterns, and blow up a scam "master" with firecrackers... Fireworks hold the secret to breaking the curse, and heartbeats hold unspoken love. When the final "twin heart firework" rises, they realize: what's meant to "burn into eyes" is never the system's mission—it's each other's figure hidden in the flames.
