Archaeologist Su Li discovers an ancient jade carved with mysterious symbols that triggers visions of a stranger. When she tracks the clues to a tomb, she meets caretaker Ye Lan who looks exactly like the man in her visions. As they decode the jade's secrets, a forbidden love story between a general and a witch from 1000 years ago emerges.
