Office worker Lin Xiaoman is bound to a "Love Prohibition System"—any crush on a man triggers absurd punishments, like suddenly crowing like a rooster or falling into a milk tea shop. She thought the system would keep bad romances away, but then she meets her new neighbor Lu Shiyan: he helps her avoid the system's "social death attacks," brings her hot congee when she works overtime till midnight, and even stands up for her against difficult clients as a business partner. Strangest of all, the system "malfunctions" every time she's near him? While Lin Xiaoman tries to prevent the system from backfiring, she can't help being drawn to him—until she finds Lu Shiyan's notebook, which reads: "Mission Objective: Make No. 007 'Love Forbidden Person' learn to love someone." It turns out Lu Shiyan is the system's "BUG Fixer," and his "fix" is to fall in love with her first?
