Lin Xiaoman returns to the mountain forest farm to fulfill her grandfather’s last wish of guarding it. Late at night, the surveillance camera suddenly captures a bizarre scene: a black bear is “waving” at the camera. Thinking it’s a prank by villagers, she grabs a flashlight and rushes into the woods, only to crash into Chen Mo, a wounded man claiming to be a forest ranger investigating missing rare plants. But the infrared remote in his pocket reveals a secret: the “waving bear” is a projected fake, and the mastermind behind it is targeting the “living fossil” tree her grandfather guarded all his life. From mutual suspicion to joining forces, they discover that this “bear wave” is a plot to steal the ancient tree that could rewrite botany history……
