Lin Xingyao, a workplace nobody, takes a part-time star photography job to raise money for her grandma's surgery. She accidentally breaks into Gu Beichuan's private observation deck—the core of Gu Group's "Star Bay" project—and is mistaken for a corporate spy. During their argument, she instantly recognizes the unfinished star trail map left by Gu Beichuan's late mother. They strike a deal: she helps complete the map in exchange for her camera and payment. As they grow closer, Gu Beichuan reveals his soft side of waiting for a meteor shower every night, and Lin Xingyao discovers that the "cold-blooded CEO"’s promise aligns with her childhood memory of stargazing with her grandma. Just as their romance blooms, Gu Group is hit by a crisis over alleged ecological damage at "Star Bay"—and Lin Xingyao’s star photos are tampered with as evidence. How will she prove her innocence, and can she fulfill the promise of watching the same meteor shower with Gu Beichuan?
