Unemployed Su Xiaotang, desperate to raise funds for her critically ill grandma's surgery, falls for a mysterious "Win a Million This New Year" game. But the money she wins carries a ghostly curse—spent red envelopes fly back, bought medicine turns to ash, and the shadow of a deceased debtor haunts her. She soon discovers every "fortune" in the game belonged to contestants who died suddenly, and the organizer is waiting to see her dragged into the abyss like those before. As the New Year countdown begins, Xiaotang must save her grandma while breaking the deadly cycle of this "fortune game."
