Chen Mo, a community security guard, saved every penny to buy a necklace for his girlfriend, but on their anniversary, he caught his girlfriend and rich second-generation rival Jiang Feng rummaging through his salary card. During the quarrel, Jiang Feng ordered his men to beat him into a coma. When Chen Mo woke up, he found himself at the mist-shrouded South Gate of Heaven—Taibai Jinxing told him he was the reincarnation of the South Gate guardian, returning to his post today! The Jade Emperor named him the "Heavenly King of the South Gate" and gave him the divine powers of clairvoyance and clairaudience, allowing him to hear the thoughts of everyone within a hundred miles! Back on Earth, Chen Mo could predict Jiang Feng's plot to ruin the community, see through his girlfriend's fake desire to reconcile, and even use his powers to help an elderly resident recover the pension scammed from her. When Jiang Feng brought people to smash the security booth, Chen Mo stood at the door and smiled as he revealed Jiang Feng's fake project contract hidden in his villa—once a manipulable security guard, now he's going to make those who betrayed him pay!
