Chen Dahai, a die-hard gambler, is tricked by casino boss Zhou Bapi into losing all his family’s money and owing 500,000 yuan in usury. When debt collectors arrive to seize their house, his 8-year-old son Xiaoyuan takes out an old poker card—revealing he’s the reincarnation of the legendary God of Gamblers, with a photographic memory and perfect card-counting skills. Xiaoyuan pretends to be a spoiled kid in the casino, losing his pocket money first to lower Zhou’s guard, then winning 20 straight games with his powers to take millions in chips. When Zhou tries to cheat, Xiaoyuan uses footage from his toy camera to force him to return the stolen money and pay 300,000 yuan in compensation. Chen hugs Xiaoyuan, sobbing and vowing to quit gambling, while Xiaoyuan hands him milk with a smile: “Dad, I’ll take care of you from now on.”
