Lin Chuan is the "most ordinary" guy in college—wearing an old jacket to deliver takeout every day, too frugal to even add tapioca pearls to his milk tea. No one knows that in his shabby rented garage lies a supercar worth millions—the 18th birthday gift from his late parents. He’s afraid of being called "flashy with inheritance" and even more afraid of touching the pain of losing his parents, so he hasn’t dared to start it in three years. Until Su Xiaotang, the school beauty, bursts in—this girl who always helps him pick up dropped takeout thinks he’s "too insecure" and secretly signs him up for the campus car race, slipping him a sticky note that says "You deserve to shine." On race day, Lin Chuan stands in front of the supercar, clutching the note, and finally turns the key. When the engine roars across the playground, the whole school erupts, but Su Xiaotang cries—she sees him touching the photo of his parents on the steering wheel with tears, realizing he’s not hiding money, but unspeakable longing. When Lin Chuan walks toward her with the trophy, the wind lifts his jacket, revealing a T-shirt printed with "Mom and Dad." Su Xiaotang whispers: "I saw your family photo on your phone long ago. I wanted to help you get the light back."
