Socially anxious illustrator Lin Xiaowan sees herself as an unreachable "moon", locking herself in her rental apartment to create healing comics daily. Until Tang, a stray dog raised by café owner Chen Yu, always squats under her window and gnaws on her hand-painted moon lamps hung on the balcony. When Lin is cornered by her landlord over unpaid rent, Tang suddenly pounces to defend her. Chen rushes over to help, and the two realize they've been secretly noticing each other all along.
