Lin Xia returned to her childhood southwestern town to run a cultural and creative bookstore, where she reunited with Chen Ye, a forest firefighter she had met once in her childhood. Frequent mountain fires broke out in summer. Ignoring the ban, Lin Xia rushed into the fire to rescue her grandfather’s old Anti-Japanese War photo album, and ran into Chen Ye who was leading the fire fighting team. Chen Ye forced her to leave the sea of fire but was hit by falling logs and injured. In the temporary shelter, the two resolved the old misunderstanding that Lin Xia had once thought Chen Ye was indifferent to saving lives. Under the witness of the scorching summer and spreading wildfire, the originally distant two gradually got close and sparked a hot and astringent romance.
