Lin Qing, the last Taoist of Longhu Mountain, descends the mountain to fulfill a childhood marriage pact with Su Wanqing, the daughter of the Su family. But the moment he steps into the Su mansion, Su Wanqing publicly calls off the engagement—"A country Taoist like you? You’re not worthy of me!" To make matters worse, his master’s "heirloom" turns out to be a sarcastic "Taoist Counterattack System"! Forced to stay as a "live-in handyman" to complete the system’s task—"resolve the Su family’s century-old yin curse"—Lin Qing turns immortal techniques into daily hacks: using talismans to catch cockroaches, fixing circuits with palm thunder. When he finally uncovers the curse on the Su family’s ancestral grave, Su Wanqing realizes: this "rustic little Taoist" actually has the power to protect her for life? From disdain to clinginess, from rejection to pursuit, watch the mountain-descending Taoist reverse his fate with the system and turn a "rejection opening" into a sweet chase comedy!
