Lin Xiaoman, a rural girl in the 1960s, was desperate watching her critically ill grandma, starving brother, and parents about to lose their old ox for unpaid grain taxes—until she touched her grandma’s silver bracelet and activated a "time-travel rescue system" that lets her switch between the 1960s and modern times! She used expired antibiotics to save her grandma, second-hand textbooks to help her brother get into the county middle school, and even sold plastic basins as "rare treasures" at the supply cooperative… But her first trip to modern times had her crashing into the arms of Lu Jingshen, a cold programmer—who looked exactly like Chen Mo, the educated youth from the next village in the 1960s! Is it a coincidence? Or is there a secret behind the time travel? As she uses modern "tricks" to save her family, she juggles neighborly suspicion, unravels Lu’s identity mystery—her family once fought over instant noodles as "immortal food", and Lu secretly taught her modern knowledge. In these tense yet funny days, while saving her family, love and truth slowly emerge…
