Su Xiao, a recent marine biology graduate, travels back in time to an ancient fishing village oppressed by a fish tyrant. She unexpectedly awakens the ability to 'see through fish's hearts'—hearing fish 'talk' and pinpointing fish schools accurately. The village is facing a food crisis due to the tyrant's monopoly on waters and mysterious fish disappearance. Su Xiao uses her power to help villagers find fish, but the tyrant frames her as a 'witch' and tries to drown her. Luckily, A Lin, a village boy who saw her kindness, stands with her to expose the tyrant's conspiracy: colluding with corrupt officials to poison the water and drive away fish. However, as she uses her ability more, small scales start growing on her wrist—what secret about the sea links to her time travel and power?
