Ordinary office worker Chen Mo rents a room with quiet and reserved Su Xiao, but keeps seeing her weird behaviors: she can catch falling express packages barehanded, accurately predict strangers' itineraries, even dry bedding before the rain arrives. A sudden street accident forces Su Xiao to teleport in front of Chen Mo to save him from an out-of-control e-bike, and in panic she blurts out "I'm an alien". At first Chen Mo thinks it's a joke, but after witnessing more supernatural details, he has no choice but to believe her. The two go from being wary of each other to trusting each other, only to be targeted by alien hunters, turning their quiet rental life into the prelude to a thrilling interstellar escape.
