Lin Xiaoman, a 996 office worker, has her life suddenly fall apart—laid off, rent doubled, and the senior she’s loved for three years is getting married. While crouching outside a convenience store eating a cold bun, her phone pops up with the "Unbroken System": "Help 100 people retrieve the unbroken parts of their hearts, and you’ll get a chance to restart your life." Forced to start the mission, she helps an elderly lady find her late husband’s engagement necklace, bickers with the sarcastic designer Gu Chuan (who’s actually the wedding planner for her senior?!), and gets into hilarious situations: wearing a doll costume to help a shy colleague reclaim their creative idea, getting scratched into a "cat face" while finding a home for a stray cat... But as the mission progresses, Xiaoman discovers the system’s secret: those "people to save" are actually her own unspoken regrets—and Gu Chuan has been secretly watching her feed stray cats outside the company three years ago? When the 100th mission is completed, she realizes: the "unbroken parts" are never given by others, but the hottest love for life that she hid in her breakdown—and Gu Chuan’s love has been waiting for her all along.
