Unemployed young man Lin Zhou makes a living by picking up trash on the streets. An accidental discovery in an abandoned factory brings him a discarded first-generation recyclable energy storage device dumped by a tech tycoon. With self-taught skills, he repairs and improves the "trash" and lands his first business order. As his business expands, neighbors who once mocked him and his former employer who once suppressed him get involved. The tycoon who abandoned the device also sets his sights on Lin's work, trying to seize the patent for himself. Lin has to navigate business traps and protect the career he built from trash, kicking off a thrilling underdog counterattack.
