Lin Shen, a modern quantum physics researcher, travels back to a 1970s third-line research institute after a car accident, only to find that the "Stardust Project" they're tackling is the core origin of his future research. However, shoddy equipment, scarce materials, and the skepticism of the conservative old director make his "forward-thinking ideas" an uphill battle. To his shock, Su Xiaotang, a female engineer at the institute, bears an uncanny resemblance to his late mother—Is she a coincidence, or the key linking the two timelines? Lin Shen must ignite the spark of his original intention in an era of material shortage while unraveling the secret of time travel: Is this "temporal dislocation" a "salvation" from his future self to the past?
