Set in the turbulent imperial capital of Crimson Court amid power shifts, "Crimson Court: The Long Ballad" follows Lin Zhao, a strategist from a humble background, who infiltrates the powerful Du family as a low-ranking official to avenge his clan’s massacre—his goal: steal evidence of the Du’s treason. However, he crosses paths with Du Heng, the Du family’s heir treated as a mere power tool by his father. To Lin Zhao’s surprise, Du Heng takes a strange interest in his "ordinary identity" and keeps pestering him intentionally. Amid the power games, they test each other: Lin Zhao hides a knife of revenge, Du Heng clutches a dream of escape. But when they uncover the Du family’s 20-year-old "massacre secret" together, they realize their fates have long been intertwined… When the sword of vengeance is pressed against the lover’s heart, will they risk everything to fight fate, or split ways forever?
