Su Xiaoman, a reclusive "Pact Keeper", devotes her life to guarding the "spiritual pacts" between humans and all beings—from the cherry tree in the old alley that must keep its "yearly blooming" promise to the sugar painting stall on the corner that needs to continue its "smoke and fire inheritance" pact. Until Gu Shen, a cold-blooded CEO, bursts into the alley with a demolition order, determined to destroy the last "pact land" she guards. But when Gu Shen's finger touches the pact mark on the cherry tree, past-life memories crash down: a thousand years ago, Xiaoman traded half her soul as a pact to save his life, and his "demolition obsession" in this life actually stems from the unextinguished "find her" instinct in his soul. Between the pact of all things she must keep and the past-life person she must find, how will Xiaoman choose?
