Lin Xiaoman, a tea farmer in a small town of South Yangtze, faces the dilemma of losing her grandfather's nearly extinct 'Bamboo Scented Tea'. Lu Shiyan, a famous tea art critic from the city, is assigned to inspect the local tea industry, but disputes with Xiaoman over her 'unconventional' tea-making method. As misunderstandings deepen, Xiaoman finds her grandfather's tea-making notebook, revealing the tea's secret is hidden in bamboo roots and morning dew, also involving her parents' past regrets. Moved by Xiaoman's persistence, Lu Shiyan shifts from doubt to support. They resolve past misunderstandings amid the bamboo fragrance and bring ancient tea trees back to life.
