Lin Qiang and Zhang Lei were childhood friends who ran a popular bone soup noodle shop together. To take all the profits, Zhang Lei secretly replaced real soup with diluted fake soup, framed Lin Qiang for violating rules, leading to Lin Qiang's shop being shut down. Desperate, Lin Qiang relied on his mother's ancestral soup recipe, waking up at dawn to simmer real soup daily, regaining customers with pure aroma. On the re-opening day, Zhang Lei came to cause trouble with a fake supplier. Lin Qiang simmered a pot of milky real soup in public, exposing Zhang Lei's underhanded scheme and slapping the greedy childhood friend hard.
