Lin Xiaochuan, a food delivery rider, tumbles into a manhole during a delivery and wakes up as the "personal guard" of Empress Chu Zhao in an ancient dynasty—bound to a glitchy "Empress Protection System" that threatens to send him back to modern life as a lifelong corporate slave if he fails! The empress, who seems soft and innocent, is actually a ruthless strategist in disguise: she either smashes a teacup on his head or makes him wash dishes in the imperial kitchen for three days. To fend off the power-hungry minister Wei Yan, Lin uses his modern delivery skills: sending secret letters at lightning speed, bribing maids with milk tea recipes to gather intel, and even modifying a carriage into an "ancient electric bike" to escape assassins… They go from mutual annoyance to protecting each other, but the system suddenly drops an ultimate mission—"Make the empress fall in love with you, or vanish into thin air"?! Staring at Chu Zhao reviewing court papers, Lin realizes: This "delivery order" is way harder than expected…
