Office worker Su Xiaoman just got laid off and was kicked out by her landlord. While squatting downstairs eating instant noodles, a man in a brocade robe, Bai Jing, suddenly fell from the sky—he’s a scattered wealth boy from the Heavenly Court who was demoted for making a mistake, and must help her fulfill three “get-rich wishes” to return. But what Su Xiaoman wants is never money: it’s the ability to support herself, to keep her late mother’s old house from being sold, and someone to eat hot meals with. Bai Jing messes things up more as he helps, but when he hands her hot congee and touches her frozen red hand, he suddenly realizes: the most precious “fortune” is always the warmth of a beating heart.
