Lin Xiaoman, a newly graduated general practitioner, gave up a provincial hospital offer to return to Taohua Village and take over her father’s role as a village doctor. However, villagers doubted her: "Can a young girl treat diseases?" Even her childhood friend Chen Ye mocked, "Did you come back because you couldn’t survive in the city?" Until an elderly person living alone had a sudden heart attack—Xiaoman saved him with first aid skills. She then took the initiative to establish health records for elderly people with chronic diseases, gradually gaining trust. Chen Ye quietly fixed her clinic’s roof and brought her homegrown peaches. They resolved the misunderstanding: Xiaoman had left suddenly to care for her critically ill mother. When peach blossoms covered the mountains, Chen Ye became a "helper" in Xiaoman’s clinic. Beside the wall of commendation flags, their hearts drew close again.
